Mountains Walking beer & balladeers with Amanda Stewart
Whether you’re a lone taster, in a duo, or part of a larger group, Mountains Walking Brewery is ready to accommodate every variety of suds-lover. Pair the newly released German Pilsner with a wood-fried pizza or other menu item to round out the experience. In addition to the frosty brews and tasty plates, the north-side space features regular live music to entertain guests. Here’s a look at who’s coming up.
One half of Americana duo Sweet Sage, Amanda Stewart brings an intimate show to the brewery on Wednesday, September 18th. She performs acoustic, alternative, and country covers – not to mention plenty of her own original music. Grab a brew and enjoy!
The next Songwriters Guild is set for Monday, September 30th. Hosted by local artist Joe Knapp, this event runs from 6–8pm. Join for an evening of live music performed by various local artists, including the event creator! Knapp plays a variety of styles including Americana, rock n’ roll, old time, and country music. He’s a member of the popular local three-piece, SlomoJoe.
And don’t forget to drink for a cause! Mountains Walking hosts regular Pint Nights with a portion of brew sales directed toward the missions of regional nonprofits. Featured organizations in the coming weeks include Southwest Montana Mountain Bike Association (SWMMBA) on Sept. 9th from 4–8pm and Gallatin Valley Lacrosse on Sept. 23rd from 6–8pm.
Located at 422 Plum Ave., Mountains Walking is open seven days a week from 11:30am–8pm (11am on Sundays). Learn more about the local brewery and tasting room at www.mountainswalking.com.
