On Wednesday, December 13th at the historic Ellen Theatre, Bozeman Film Society is proud to present Mountainfilm on Tour, a selection of culturally rich, adventure-packed and incredibly inspiring short documentary films selected from the 2017 Mountainfilm Festival held in Telluride, Colorado. A benefit for Mountainfilms’ non-profit partner, dZi Foundation*, this exciting program will explore themes connected to the Mountainfilm mission of using the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world.
Curated just for Bozeman, the evening’s program includes MFT Commitment Grant Winner, “The Last Honey Hunter” (Dir: Ben Knight, Cin: Renan Ozturk), “Where the Wild Things Play” (Dir: Krystle Wright), “A Field Guide to Losing Your Friends” (Dir: Chad Clendinen, Writer: Tyler Dunning), plus 9 more award-winning film shorts guaranteed to inspire you!
The evening’s Emcee is founder & President of dZi Foundation, Jim Nowak, with special guest & Bozeman writer, Tyler Dunning, author & subject of “A Field Guide to Losing Your Friends.” Additional support for Mountainfilm on Tour provided by Spire Climbing Center, Owenheouse-Ace Hardware and Crazy Mountain Outdoor Company.
