Montana PBS invites the community to a special 20th anniversary screening of the Emmy Award-winning documentary Class C: The Only Game in Town at 3pm on Sunday, April 6th. It will screen at The Ellen Theatre in Downtown Bozeman. This free event celebrates two decades since the film’s original broadcast.
The beloved feature-length documentary follows five girls’ basketball teams from Montana’s smallest schools on their journey to win the state championship. As small towns shrink and communities are forced to face the increasingly hard realities of modern rural life, the film showcases resilience and how these high school athletes carry their hope and heartbreak onto the basketball court.
Following the screening, attendees can join a panel discussion featuring the filmmakers, former players and special guests. Doors open at 2pm. Seating is first come, first served.
