Come get a hug from Daniel Tiger! Montana PBS has partnered with community organizations across Gallatin County to host “Neighbor Day” on Saturday, June 14th, from 10am–1pm at the Gallatin County Fairgrounds.
The event will be a FREE fun-filled day of learning that’s perfect for families with children ages 3-8. There will be tables and booths full of hands-on educational activities focusing on STEM and literacy, summer resources for parents, and a Daniel Tiger + Elinor (from Elinor Wonders Why) meet-and-greet! It’s a beautiful day in the neighborhood, so please won’t you be our neighbor?
The event is sponsored by Bozeman Health, Culligan, First Interstate Bank, the Gallatin County Fairgrounds, and Montana Parent magazine.
Partner community organizations for the event include USFS Custer Gallatin National Forest/Hebgen Lake and Bozeman Ranger District, HRDC Gallatin Valley Food Bank, Greater Gallatin United Way, World Language Initiative, Almaltheia Dairy, Concussion Resource Center, Gallatin Valley YMCA, Windhorse Equine Learning, Family Outreach, Big Brothers Big Sisters, Bozeman Fire Department, 4-H, Gallatin College, American Robotics and Computer Museum, Tinworks Art, Belgrade High School Robotics Team Bienvenidos a Gallatin Valley, Happy Trash Can, and the MSU Police Department.
