The Bozeman Symphony & Symphonic Choir, conducted by Matthew Savery, will perform one of the most magnificent symphonic works of all time – Gustav Mahler’s 2nd Symphony, the “Resurrection Symphony,” on Saturday, April 7th at 7:30pm, and Sunday, April 8th at 2:30pm. Both concerts will be held at Willson Auditorium, located at 404 W Main Street in Downtown Bozeman.
Mahler was a giant of the late Romantic composers and his music captivated, and still captivates, the world. Join the Bozeman Symphony as they present one of his most special masterpieces. The grand finale of the Symphony’s 50th anniversary season brings together the Orchestra and Symphonic Choir, along with the Montana State University Chorale, to tackle Mahler’s grand vision of redemption and resurrection. Featuring soprano Colleen Daly and mezzo-soprano Margaret Lattimore, these performances will feature nearly 230 musicians on the Willson stage, promising to be their most profound of the season.
Tickets range $27–$67 with student discounts available. Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door, based on availability.
