‘Lunch on the Lawn’ closes with stylings of Little Jane, Megan Makeever
Join your friends and neighbors for a summer favorite on the Emerson green with back-to-back events this month. Lunch on the Lawn will conclude Wednesdays, August 3rd and 10th, from 11:30am–1:30pm.
A long-missed Bozeman tradition, this free community event features live music, local food vendors, and children’s activities. Entertain the kids while enjoying music and mingling with other parents. Or, get away from your desk and soak up some sunshine on the Emerson’s west lawn. Here’s a look at the upcoming music lineup.

Next up is Little Jane & the Pistol Whips on Aug. 3rd. The Americana/Country band from right here in Southwest Montana performs relatable, original music written by Ashly J Holland that touches your heart and gets your toes-a-tapping. They’ve been serenading folks from Montana and beyond since 2008.
Megan Makeever & Friends close out the summer series with a performance on Aug. 10th. The local singer, songwriter and beatboxing flute player has invited some of Bozeman’s favorite musicians for an afternoon of music you don’t want to miss. Featuring both original songs and some crowd favorites this local group will touch your heart and bring the audience to its feet.
Food vendors will include Mo Bowls, Starseed and Tropical Sno at each event for those who don’t feel like packing a lunch. Delish! All events are free and open to the public.
Located at 111 S Grand Ave., the Emerson Center for the Arts & Culture serves as a primary resource for the arts, arts education, and cultural activities in Southwest Montana. Learn more about Lunch on the Lawn and other happenings at www.theemerson.org. •
