Popular local venue Pine Creek Lodge plays host to a number of shows for those looking to visit their favorite venue as the off-season continues. ‘Winter Concert Series’ events remain indoors but the music is as enjoyable as ever.
Next up are three nights with jam band bluegrassers North Fork Crossing March 5th–7th. Their genre resides somewhere in a strange untapped musical realm between traditional bluegrass, psychedelic rock, Americana and folk. The quintet are drawn to bluegrass reaching a younger generation, priding themselves on their unique sound being the “evolution of string band music.”
Progressive bluegrass outfit Sicard Hollow follows on March 19th. The four-piece progressive bluegrass band formed with a mutual passion for pushing the boundaries of genre. Heavily influenced by the Grateful Dead and New Grass Revival, these young pickers bring new energy to a timeless style with a combination of fearless improvisation and instrumental prowess. Their latest EP release, Ditch the Map, is available now.

Enjoy the Americana roots rock of Aaron Golay & the Original Sin on March 21st. Masterful storytellers, their sound seamlessly blends Americana, roots, rock and soul into every song. The music is a journey through the highs and lows of life, leaving listeners with unforgettable stories that linger long after the song ends.
Late this month, country folk trio honeyholler takes the stage for a March 27th show. United by a love for country grit and folk tradition, the group delivers powerful three-part harmonies backed by guitar, upright bass and fiddle for a sound that’s both raw and uplifting. The Bozeman trio features Lena Marie Schiffer, Kailey Marie and Ani Casabonne.
Set for April 4th, rootsy singer/songwriter Wes Urbaniak & the Mountain Folk perform. An amalgamation of the arts and sciences, the frontman pushes through the pinholes of storytelling via songwriting. He displays a beautiful oddity of human expression in music and presence, and does fine work moving his songs and guitar around mic.
Walcrik bring their genre-bending catalog to the Lodge on April 10th. Blending roots, Americana, bluegrass and folk music, they’ll have you up and dancing one minute, then listening intently to the lyric-driven songwriting about life, love, loss and the American West.
