The Livingston Film Series is proud to present two brilliant short films this month. Big Medicine: York Outdoors and The Grand Salmon screen back to back on Thursday, November 13th. The films begin at 7pm at the Shane Lalani Center for the Arts.
Big Medicine explores the untold story of York, the only African American member of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. As wild salmon populations in Idaho approach extinction, three women embark on a 1,000 mile expedition to take on four dams at the heart of the salmon’s catastrophic decline in The Grand Salmon.
A post-film discussion will be held with film outfitter and guide Norm Miller.

Continuing its latest season of screening independent features, documentaries, local films and vintage classics, doors open at 6:30pm with screenings to follow at 7pm. Admission is free, but donations are gratefully accepted. Concessions available. For more information, please visit www.
