As the summer concert series quickly approaches, popular local venue Pine Creek Lodge plays host to a number of shows for those looking to visit their favorite venue as the days grow longer. Events are still indoors but the music is as enjoyable as ever.
Minneapolis-born Pert Near Sandstone are next up with a pair of shows on April 4th and 5th. Tireless stewards of the midwestern roots music community, the band performs with infectious energy and an undeniable joy. Their strong songcraft melds with old-time sensibilities in a unique brand of modern string band music they deliver to fans around the world. Their latest full-length, Waiting Days, is now available.
Walcrik takes the stage on April 11th. Blending roots, Americana, bluegrass and folk music, they’ll have you up and dancing one minute, then listening intently to the lyric-driven songwriting about life, love, loss and the American West.
On April 12th, aficionados of all things suds will converge for the Pine Creek Lodge Brew Fest. Sample craft beer from your favorite Montana breweries, enjoy live music from Matt Wallin & His Nervous Breakdown and Cleo Toll, food and lots of fun. The event will be held from noon–5pm. Event tickets are $40 in advance. A discounted designated driver ticket will be available at the gate. A FREE shuttle courtesy of Party Bus Rentals will be leaving from Katabatic Brewing at noon and returning after the Fest.
Singer/songwriter Abby Webster performs on April 18th and 19th. Her songs blend alt-country, folk and bedroom pop elements, showcasing lyrics that are as whimsical as they are visceral. Her latest album, Livin’ by the Water, released in the fall.
