Downtown Bozeman’s Eagles Bar has long-served locals as a welcoming space for happy hour libations and regular entertainment. The tavern is home to a steady schedule of Wednesday acoustics and weekend jamming. Here’s who’s performing in the coming weeks.
Settle in for a night of acoustics on May 1st with music by Trygh. The solo bassist is known for his dark spin on the folk genre, inspired by the cold mountains of Montana.
Eagles favorites Bluebelly Junction are back May 3rd and 4th. The “rockabilly” group brings an arsenal of originals and personalized covers. The high-energy band tends to veer away from slow jams, other than the occasional tune.
Guitarist, singer and songwriter Matthew Vander Sande brings a one-man show on May 8th. Settle in for a night of smooth strings and original lyrics by this talented local.
The Love Darts follow May 10th and 11th. The hard rock punk band got its start playing venues like the Haufbrau, having since grown into a fine-tuned project featuring some of Bozeman’s most energetic guitarists. Take a listen to their self-professed “sloppy rock n’ roll” on their newly released EP, Girly.
Poison Lovers guitarist and vocalist Robert Lethert delivers a solo performance on May 15th. Expect a blend of old school country and contemporary Americana. His strong gravely voice will perfectly complement your evening at the downtown tavern.
The Disruptors take the stage with back-to-back shows on May 17th and 18th. The high energy band does their darndest to get audiences singing along with their wide selection of rock n’ roll tunes from the ‘60s to now.
Local songwriter Peter King takes the stage May 22nd. The Dead Yellers’ frontman gears his original lyrics around the human condition, love, war and self-control. His originals tell the story of honest, blue collar life in a small town. King’s influences range from the lonesome classic country sound to that of a DIY punk rock group.
Returning to the stage following their shows earlier in the month, Bluebelly Junction will be on hand to perform on May 24th and 25th. Let your hair down following a long workweek with these energetic local rock n’ rollers.
Last but certainly not least, Tsunami Funk are back for two shows on May 31st and June 1st. The Bozeman-favorite group always packs the dance floor with Funk/R&B-rocking grooves. They play tunes from artists like Stevie Wonder, Pharrell Williams, Bruno Mars, Red Hot Chili Peppers, James Brown, Earth Wind & Fire, Sly & the Family Stone, Kool & the Gang, Van Morrison, Steely Dan, Bob Marley and more.

The Eagles hosts BINGO Night on Saturday evenings, with the game beginning at 6pm. Grab your friends and dobber of choice for a chance to win some extra bucks.
Make sure to check out Bridger Mountain Big Band on Sunday nights. The ensemble performs at 7pm. The 17-piece jazz orchestra celebrates the music of Duke Ellington, Count Basie and more, with original arrangements and music of all genres from the 1900s to today.
