The Livingston Film Series will present the next in its free screening series with Trust Me on Thursday, November 5th. The film begins at 7pm at the Shane Lalani Center for the Arts.
When was the last time you had the opportunity to watch a film that won the UNESCO Award for Media Literacy in North America? Or the winner of the Walter Cronkite for Excellence in Television in Political Journalism Award?
In partnership with The Getting Better Foundation, the Film Series presents Trust Me, a feature documentary exploring human nature, information technology, media bias, and the need for media literacy to help people trust one another. More poignant in today’s media environment than ever, Trust Me ensures that trust creates a more resilient population.

Trust Me is presented by the USC Annenberg Norman Lear Center. All this work would not have been possible without the dedication and resilience of Joe Phelps and the team at The Getting Better Foundation.
Continuing its latest season of screening independent features, documentaries, local films and vintage classics, doors open at 6:30pm with screenings to follow at 7pm. Admission is free, but donations are gratefully accepted. Concessions available. For more information, please visit www.theshanecenter.org.
The Livingston Film Series is generously sponsored by Marilyn Clotz & Mary Ann Bearden, Donald B. Gimbel and Carol Lalani in memory of Sal Lalani. •
