Lauren Coleman’s Have Fun Dancing announces its new course schedule for classes starting the week of January 8th. Courses for beginners will include Basic Swing and Basic Tango. Classes meet on different days of the week, depending on flavor of dance.
Basic Swing will be held Monday evenings from 6:30–7:30pm. The versatile dance features many turns while the feet keep the rhythm. Sometimes referred to as Jitterbug, it can be danced to a wide variety of music. On Thursdays, Basic Tango will be offered from 6–7pm. The fascinating and unique dance from Argentina is taught to dancers with an organic approach.
Tuition for all courses is $73 per person. Each will meet six times. Classes will be held at Have Fun Dancing, located at 414 Bryant St. (off N Rouse) in Bozeman. The studio features a spacious floating and sprung hardwood dance floor in a unique and friendly atmosphere. Practices and dance parties are also offered throughout the season. Additional classes in West Coast and Tango for experienced dancers will also be offered in the new year.
