IndepenDANCE sashays onto the silver screen this month
IndepenDANCE Community Dance Project is proud to present their 13th annual event, Cinematic. Adapting to the current times, the contemporary troupe is bringing Bozeman’s largest dance show to the big screen!
Join for a film event showcasing the work of over 20 local choreographers, featuring over 80 dancers from the community. The screening is set for 7pm on Saturday, January 8th at the Ellen Theatre in Downtown Bozeman.
IndepenDANCE is known for their diverse productions, in which each piece is entirely different than the last. This year’s show continues that trend, with footage of dance pieces all taken in and around Bozeman, of varying genres.
The mission of IndepenDANCE is to inspire, unite and nurture dancers and choreographers while celebrating diversity and creativity through movement. The non-profit organization provides its participants the ability to create all types of dance together and showcase their work in a variety of settings. IndepenDANCE thrives because of the community’s passion for dance and belief that the art of movement has no limits. For more information, to get involved, or to help support the project, visit
