Immortality through story: Big Fish takes Shane stage
The Shane Lalani Center for the Arts continues to present folksy fairytale Big Fish in Livingston. Performances run through March 22nd in the Dulcie Theatre.
Based on the novel by Daniel Wallace and Tim Burton’s acclaimed film, Big Fish tells the story of Edward Bloom, a traveling salesman who lives leads an extraordinary life full of witches, giants and mermaids. Edward’s incredible stories thrill everyone around him – most of all, his devoted wife Sandra. But their son Will, about to have a child of his own, is determined to find the truth behind his father’s epic tales. Overflowing with heart and humor, Big Fish is an extraordinary musical tale – spectacular, fantastical, and full of love.
Big Fish runs weekends through March 22nd in the Dulcie Theatre at the Shane Lalani Center. Performances take place Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm, followed by Sunday matinees at 3pm. Tickets to all shows are $18 for adults, $14 for seniors and college students, and $10 for youth 17 and under.
