HealthCare on the go with area mobile screenings
Bozeman Health continues to offer HealthCare Connections – Mobile Health Screenings at locations in and around the Gallatin Valley.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, appointments are now required in advance. Masks must be worn while receiving services. Here’s a look at when and where this year’s remaining events will be held.
The next event is set for Friday, Nov. 6th at Bozeman Public Library, with appointment availability between the hours of 10am and 2pm. Gallatin County Regional Park will play host on Saturday, Nov. 14th from 9am–1pm. Belgrade Community Library follows on Tuesday, Nov. 17th from 11am–3pm. On Thursday, Dec. 3rd, the Ridge Athletic Center hosts from 8am–noon. And looking ahead, the mobile health bus will park in Downtown Manhattan on Saturday, Dec. 12th from 8am–noon.
Regular preventive health screenings and immunizations are essential to good health. Sometimes we postpone these medical necessities because we can’t afford it, however, none of us can afford to get sick. That’s why Bozeman Health is offering FREE health screenings and select immunizations for those who need it including the uninsured and underinsured. Protect your health. Stay healthy. Get screened and know your risks.
Screenings include breast and colon cancer, high blood pressure, heart disease, diabetes, bone density, obesity, and HIV and HepC. Additionally, select vaccinations are offered including Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis), pneumonia, and flu.
