Featuring a talented cast of student actors, Bozeman High School Hawks Theatre Company will present a stage adaptation of an award-winning classic film early this month. The Princess Bride will be presented over six performances from November 1st–9th. Friday and Saturday shows will begin at 7pm, with a 2pm opening matinee and both Sundays. All will be held in the BHS auditorium.
The Princess Bride transforms the iconic fairy-tale adventure into a lively theatrical experience filled with romance, humor and sword-swinging excitement. The play follows the daring quest of Westley to rescue his true love, Princess Buttercup, from the clutches of the scheming Prince Humperdinck. With unforgettable characters, witty dialogue and a playful mix of satire and sincerity, the production captures the heart, charm and timeless magic of the beloved film and novel.

Adapted for the stage and under the direction of Lila Michael, this play is suitable for all ages. General Princess Bride admission is $12.50 and $10 for students, available in advance at bsd7.revtrak.net (click “Drama” > “BHS Drama”). Tickets available at the box office as space allows. Box office will open an hour prior to each show, with doors thirty minutes before. For additional information, contact Hawks Theatre Co. at (406) 522-4855. •
