Wedding season draws nigh – learn to DANCE!
Put more fun in your life and learn to dance! It’s a great way to meet new people, gain self-confidence, learn a social skill, get exercise and also ready for spring and summer weddings. Lauren Coleman’s Have Fun Dancing has announced its new schedule for classes starting the week of April 16th. Courses for beginners include Basic Ballroom, Basic Swing, Basic Country and Basic Waltz. Classes meet on different days of the week, depending on the type of dance. No experience or partner necessary!
Basic Ballroom serves as an introduction to partner dancing with a focus on the fundamentals of the Foxtrot and Swing. These skills are used in all other dances. It will meet twice a week for three weeks, and tuition $61 per person.
Basic Swing Tuesdays showcase this energetic, upbeat dance and begin at 6pm. Basic Country Tuesdays follows at 7pm, covering both Two Step and Triple Step. You’d be set for local dance floors! Basic Waltz Thursdays, starting at 6pm, is a classic for weddings, country floors and ballrooms. These courses will meet once a week for seven weeks. The tuition for each is $71 per person.
Classes for more advanced dancers will include West Coast Swing Mondays at 7pm, Basic Lindy Hop Mondays at 8pm, Swing III Tuesdays at 8pm, and Advanced Tango Thursdays at 7pm. The instructor will be offering fresh material from Buenos Aires! These courses will meet once a week for seven weeks. The tuition for each of these courses is $71 per person.
Classes will be held in the Have Fun Dancing studio at 414 Bryant St. (off of N Rouse) in Bozeman. The studio features a unique, friendly atmosphere with a spacious floating and sprung hardwood dance floor to prevent injury and reduce fatigue.
