Helena indie rockers HASOM, Road Agents jam at Bozeman Hot Springs
After soaking up the remaining rays from a warm summer sunset, relax in the waters of Bozeman Hot Springs. The local destination for residents and visitors is also home to weekly live music from the pool-adjacent stage. Regional and traveling musicians perform on regular Thursday and Sunday nights at 7pm. Here’s a look at who’s coming up.
Helena-based duo HASOM showcase their rocking indie sound on Sunday, July 7th. Brothers Chris and Myles Steinmetz combine a handful of influences to create a show for rock lovers of every subgenre – alt rock, surf rock, skate and acoustic rock, among others. Playing a few shows around Montana to promote their new album, HASOM’s swing through the Hot Springs will have everybody rocking out.
The Road Agents will play their Montana-accented rock n’ roll on Thursday, July 11th. The guitar and mandolin duo comprised of Jeff Peterson and Justin Ringsak sings on a wide range of topics, from songs about firewood to those about robbing banks. Their debut EP, Dreams of Stingrays, Roadrunners, and Hangovers is available now. With an acoustic sound that’s easy on the ears while still being a fun listen, The Road Agents are a perfect fit for a Thursday night in the pools.
Brian Ernst fronts a solo show on Sunday, July 14th. Playing over twenty instruments, he loops and records live original music, blending singer/songwriter material with rhythm blues and up-beat instrumentals. Ernst brings a compelling catalog of songs based in action, passion and purpose. Spending nearly a decade on the road, he brings his amazing sound through the Hot Springs for a fun, unique show that also represents a good cause.
