The creators of Grizzlies of Pilgrim Creek are set to appear at the Emerson on Friday, November 13th at 6:30pm in an effort to promote their new book. Sponsored by Sierra Club and Gallatin Wildlife Association, internationally-acclaimed nature photographer Tom Mangelsen and award-winning author Todd Wilkinson will discuss and show stunning images from Grizzlies. This event is especially timely as the federal government considers removing Endangered Species Act protections from grizzly bears. The book explores the struggles of grizzlies in the region through the eyes of beloved Grizzly 399 and her cubs. What would delisting mean for Grizzly 399? Come listen and discuss your thoughts at this interactive forum. Grizzlies celebrates the most famous family of grizzly bears in the world–specifically matriarch 399 and her offspring.
