Gallatin Gateway is excited to announce the annual return of The Bash, an event celebrating the community’s rich history and culture. The event will take place on Saturday, August 16th, in and outside of the Gallatin Gateway Community Center as well as participating local venues.
This day-long event will feature various activities and attractions for all ages, highlighting Gateway’s unique spirit. Activities are set to commence at 7am and run through 2pm.
The Bash kicks off early with the Gateway Gallop Fun Run at 7:30am, offering an energetic start to the festivities. Attendees can then enjoy a hearty breakfast with local heroes at the Gateway Fireman’s Breakfast from 7–10am.
Car enthusiasts will not want to miss the Milwaukee St. Paul Car Show, which will be held from 8am to noon and will showcase an impressive collection of vintage and classic cars. History buffs can take guided tours of the Little Bear Schoolhouse from 8am–noon.
From 10am to 1pm, explore the eclectic offerings of Snake Oil Vendors, local vendors selling crafts, home goods, Chicken Poop bingo, and more. Visitors will also enjoy the excitement of the Slabtown Logging Games from 10am–noon, which honors the town’s logging heritage.
Families will love the Salesville Scavenger Hunt and Little Wranglers Activities from 10am to 1pm. Another highlight of the morning is the Gallagator Parade at noon, featuring floats from local businesses and organizations exhibiting “Gateway Through the Centuries.”
Alumni are invited to reconnect at the Gallatin Gateway All School Reunion at 11am, followed by a community lunch hosted by the Willing Workers Ladies Aid from 12:30–1:30pm. Sweet treats await at Cookies on Mill Street from 1–2pm.
