The town of Gallatin Gateway is excited to host the 2024 return of The Bash, an event celebrating the community’s rich history and culture. The event will take place on Saturday, August 24th, in and outside of the Gallatin Gateway Community Center as well as participating local venues. Activities are set to commence at 7am and run through 3pm.
The Bash celebrates Gallatin Gateway – a small town with a rich history and a vibrant community spirit. Known for its strong community ties, Gateway is where history comes alive and neighbors become friends. This day-long event will feature various activities and attractions for all ages, highlighting Gateway’s unique spirit.
Events include:
– Gateway Fireman’s Breakfast from 7–10am
– The Gateway Gallop Fun Run at 7:30am
– Milwaukee St. Paul Car Show from 8am–noon
– Guided tours of the Little Bear Schoolhouse from 8am–noon
– Snake Oil Vendors & Slabtown Logging Games from 10am–1pm
– Salesville Scavenger Hunt & Little Wranglers Activities from 10am–1pm
– Gateway Bash Parade at 11am
– Gallatin Gateway All School Reunion at noon
– Community lunch hosted by the Willing Workers Ladies Aid from noon–1pm
– Cookies on Mill Street from 1–3pm
– Sarsaparillas, Shirley Temples & dance lessons at The Westerner from 1–3pm
The Bash will take place Aug. 24th from 7am–3pm at the Gallatin Gateway Community Center, located at 145 Mill St., as well as participating local venues. The event is put on by the Gallatin Gateway Willing Workers Ladies Aid, Gallatin Gateway Fire Department and Gallatin Gateway School Foundation.
