Get out into the snowy elements in support of Montana’s Special Olympics athletes with a harsh dip into icy winter waters! The annual President’s Polar Plunge will take place Saturday, February 18th at Glen Lake Rotary Park, just off Manley Road.
Sponsored by a number of local businesses and community members, plungers will take to the glacial waters at 1pm. Check-in will be held from 11:30am–12:30pm. Note: There is NO parking at the Recreation Area. Please arrange a drop-off or take the provided shuttle service. Thousands of plungers have raised nearly $350,000 annually with this statewide events. Let’s take this haul to the next level!
Attendees need not submerge themselves should they still like to offer their support on the sidelines while observing daring members of the community freeze for a purpose. The event is meant to band people together from this and neighboring communities in an effort to raise awareness. The Plunge entertains, while advocating for and representing the place we all call home.
