Cast a line among fellow fishy folk with the Fly Fishing Film Tour, kicking off its nationwide trek at Bozeman’s Emerson Center for Arts & Culture on Saturday, January 20th with showings at 5pm and 8pm.
This 18th annual tour features a top notch selection of short films that are sure to get audiences fired up for the season ahead. This year will include films that take viewers into the science of the Costa Marlin Project, to the deep depths of the jungle for the massive Peacock Bass, and will have a Steelhead story with characters as rare as the fish itself. Plus many, many more.
The F3T is the largest fly fishing film event of its kind. Come for the action and stay for the giveaways and camaraderie – from your local fly shop to a community of like-minded anglers. The F3T aims to inspire, feed a shared addiction to fishing, and build awareness for conservation efforts both near and far.
Tickets for the Bozeman premiere showings are $22 and available through www.flyfilmtour.com, where you can also find more information and watch film trailers. Discount tickets are available at The River’s Edge, Montana Troutfitters, Yellow Dog Fishing, Bozeman Fly Supply and Montana Angler. •
