Family Promise, the nation’s leading nonprofit addressing family homelessness and early learning, is hosting its second annual Summer Kick-Off Carnival event, celebrating the last day of school. The Carnival will take place Thursday, June 8 from 1–4pm at 1603 Tschache Lane. Because of the generosity of event sponsors, the afternoon is open to all families regardless of ability to pay.
Carnival entertainment will include a dunk tank, food donated by Town & Country, drinks donated by Harrington Pepsi, a live DJ, inflatables, games, crafts, snow cones, face painting and carnival prizes for all ages. The first 100 children in attendance will receive a special swag bag from The Great Rocky Mountain Toy Company.
“Last year we had nearly 400 kids that came out for a fun time,” says Family Promise Executive Director Christel Chvilicek, “and we look forward to ushering in the excitement of summer with even more kids this year!”
Attendees are encouraged to park in the Bullfrog Spa and Chase Bank parking lot. Parking in the Family Promise or Community Health Partners lots is not permitted unless the accommodation is needed.
This event is made possible, and so much more enjoyable, because of the generosity of sponsors: XL Country, Town & Country Foods, Harrington Pepsi, Charles Schwab, Opportunity Bank, Palisade Financial, Clearwater Credit Union, KR Office Interiors, Lang Automotive and The Great Rocky Mountain Toy Company.
