Livingston Film Series closes w/ cinematic selections from MSU students
The Livingston Film Series is delighted to present a free screening of Student Films from the MSU School of Film & Photography at 7pm on Tuesday, June 11th at the Shane Lalani Center for the Arts.
It’s the final screening of the 2018-19 season, and the best have been saved for last! This will be a special evening of films written, produced, and edited by students of the MSU School of Film’s Masters, Grad, and undergrad programs.
Montana State University’s School of Film and Photography has prepared students to become professionally trained creative artists for over 50 years. Provided with a solid foundation in writing, cinematography, editing, directing, lighting, and sound, MSU film students have gone on to win three Oscars, numerous Emmys, and have worked on major productions like The Walking Dead, Dexter, Star Wars and many others the world over.
Culled from hundreds of student projects, these productions represent some of MSU’s finest creative cinematic offerings. And, in celebration of another great LFS season, the Shane will host a burgers and brats bbq before the film!
Now wrapping its fourth season, the Livingston Film Series presents a variety of independent features, documentaries, local films, and special screenings on the second Tuesday of every month in the Dulcie Theatre at the Sane Lalani Center for the Arts.
Doors open at 6:30pm. Concessions are available prior to the 7pm screenings. Admission is always free, but donations are gratefully accepted. For more information, please visit www.theshanecenter.org.
The Livingston Film Series is generously sponsored by Donald B. Gimbel, Marilyn Clotz and Mary Ann Bearden. •
