Symphony Storytime Featuring the Flute
April 22 @ 10:15am
Bozeman Symphony Presents Symphony Storytime Featuring the Flute at Bozeman Public Library
The Bozeman Symphony invites children and families to Symphony Storytime featuring the flute on Wednesday, April 22, at 10:15 a.m. at the Bozeman Public Library.
This free, interactive program presented in partnership with the Library’s Toddler and Preschool Storytime blends engaging storytelling with live music to create a joyful experience designed especially for children ages 3–5.
This month’s program features Bozeman Symphony Principal Flutist Sierra Schmeltzer, joined by special guest reader Riley O’Toole, Associate Artistic Director of Montana Shakespeare in the Parks. Together, they will bring a beloved children’s story to life through the expressive interplay of words and music.
Following the story, Schmeltzer will introduce young listeners to the flute through a brief, engaging musical demonstration. Children will have a chance to explore rhythm and sound in a fun, accessible way while learning how the instrument works.
Families are also encouraged to mark their calendars for the next Symphony Storytime on Wednesday, May 13, at 10:15 a.m., at the Bozeman Public Library.
