Carve out some winter fun at the 10th Annual Sweet Pea Festival Ice Carving Competition, returning to Soroptimist Park on Friday, January 31.
Celebrating a decade of icy creativity, the beloved winter event invites solo carvers, friends, and family teams to transform massive blocks of ice into one-of-a-kind winter masterpieces. Carving begins at 9:00 a.m., with judging at 3:00 p.m. The event is free to participate, with cash prizes awarded to top finishers, and free for the public to attend.
New for the 10th anniversary, Sweet Pea is adding a mini artists’ marketplace upstairs at the Eagles from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. The market is a nod to the Sweet Pea Summer Festival and will feature a curated lineup of local artists. Attendees can browse handmade goods, warm up with a hot drink, and enjoy a sweet treat after viewing the ice carvings.
