Join the Second String Orchestra, under the direction of Carrie Krause, for their fall performance featuring a wide variety of classical works for strings including parts of the graceful Serenade for Strings by Dvorak, the stately Baroque composition Water Music Suite No.1 by Handel, Piazzolla’s Libertango, a medley of Fiddler on the Roof favorites arranged by Jerry Bock, and Jules Massenet’s Meditation from Thais, a lyrical interlude featuring special guest soloist Leah Bouhley on violin.
Second String Orchestra is Bozeman’s premier community orchestra. The performance is free and open to the public.
