Journey back more than 500 million years with Dr. Orme as she explores Montana’s ancient Precambrian landscapes through the sedimentary rocks of the LaHood Formation. Discover what Earth looked like before the Cambrian Explosion, when life was simple but beginning to leave its mark in the geologic record. Drawing on fossils preserved in Montana and neighboring Paleozoic rocks teeming with life, Dr. Orme will reveal the dramatic transformation of our planet and the story these ancient rocks tell about the dawn of complex life.
