Montana Wildlife Crossings Living Up to the Landscape

“Living Up to the Montana Landscape” is a statewide speaking and engagement tour designed to spark informed dialogue, inspire, and mobilize collaboration around wildlife crossings and landscape connectivity. An expert set of panelists, including Breanna Ball of the WYldlife Fund; Lee Spangler of Western Transportation Institute;Montana Fish, Wildlife & Parks; and Montana Dept. of Transportation will leading the discussion.
The tour will highlight:
The science and engineering behind wildlife crossings
The human safety and economic benefits of reducing wildlife-vehicle collisions
The policy and funding realities shaping what is possible in the years ahead
The role of collaboration — across agencies, universities, NGOs, and communities — in turning opportunity into action.
