Members of the Montana media,
Montana State University invites you to cover an annual exercise in STEM – science, technology, engineering and math – in which more than 400 K-12 students from across the state show off robots they engineered and built using Lego robotic kits and more advanced metal construction systems with 3D printed parts, motors, sensors and custom programming. Media will have the opportunity to photograph and take video of the participants and their robots in action.
The FIRST Tech Challenge, a competition featuring students from grades 7-12, will take place Friday, Feb. 6, in MSU’s Shroyer Gym. The FIRST Lego League, a competition featuring students from grades K-8, will take place Saturday, Feb. 7, in MSU’s Inspiration Hall within Norm Asbjornson Hall.
