Montana Constitution Roadshow: A Shared Heritage
October 20 @ 6:00pm
On Monday, October 20, Upper Seven Law will present the Montana Constitution Roadshow at the Bozeman Public Library from 6–7 pm. Upper Seven Law is a nonprofit public interest law firm whose mission is to hold the powerful accountable.
“Because it is so important to make information about the constitution and our system of laws available to everyone—and because we have a really good time talking about it, we’re launching the Montana Constitution Roadshow to have great conversations with Montanans about our foundation of government,” said Rylee Sommers-Flanagan, Upper Seven’s Founder and Executive Director.
The Roadshow is an engaging and informative presentation about the foundations of a representative democracy, the rule of law, and the ways in which the Montana Constitution is special and distinct. It includes exciting and timely topics like government transparency and separation of powers, and offers a peek into interesting stories about how Montana came to have one of the newest and most unusual constitutions in the country. Everyone is welcome!
