Join us for another exciting Scholar in Residence event at the Yellowstone Gateway Museum!
This May, we are thrilled to welcome James C. Halfpenny, Ph.D. for “The Yellowstone Wolverine Revealed.” Known to many as the “Track Doctor,” Dr. Halfpenny has spent decades studying wildlife tracks, behavior, alpine ecology, winter environments, and carnivores across the globe.
Start the experience with a free public reception at the Yellowstone Gateway Museum on Wednesday, May 20 at 6 PM, where you can meet Dr. Halfpenny in a casual setting.
Then join us for the main event on Thursday, May 21 at 7 PM at the Empire Theatre for his free public lecture, “The Yellowstone Wolverine Revealed.” Books will be available for sale and signing in the lobby.
From Yellowstone wolves to wolverines, snowfields, and the changing winter landscape of the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, Dr. Halfpenny brings a lifetime of research and discovery to this fascinating presentation.
