High Places – Chestnut Mountain

Dancer Genevieve Trygstad-Burke and violinist Carrie Krause present the final public performance of “High Places 2025”, featuring music & dance performance on peaks, on the summit of Chestnut Mountain at 11am on Wednesday, August 27. The performance features “Ascent” created by Bozeman composer for Athena Carson for these events, Bach’s monumental Chaconne, and other pieces. Attendees ascend at their own pace, assume their own risk, and meet at the top at the scheduled time.
