# Headwaters Lager Festival
## Saturday, May 30 • 4–8 p.m.
## Bridger Brewing, Three Forks
Headwaters Lager Fest is back on Saturday, May 30 in Three Forks. It’s a full
afternoon of Montana lagers, a little friendly competition, and a crowd that
shows up ready to have a good time.
We’ve got 15 breweries pouring this year, all lagers, with unlimited samples
included in your ticket. It’s a great mix of breweries from across the state:
Pouring This Year
– Gild Brewing Co. (Missoula)
– Katabatic Brewing Company (Livingston)
– Last Best Brewing Company (Bozeman)
– Outlaw Brewing (Bozeman)
– Red Lodge Ales Brewing Company (Red Lodge)
– Bozeman Brewing Company (Bozeman)
– MAP Brewing Company (Bozeman)
– Ruby Valley Brew (Sheridan)
– North Star Brewing Company (Whitefish)
– Lewis & Clark Brewing Company (Helena)
– Copper Furrow Brewing (Manhattan)
– Cranky Sam Public House (Missoula)
– Blackfoot River Brewing Company (Helena)
– Smelter City Brewing (Anaconda)
– Bridger Brewing (Three Forks)
Come for the beer. Stay for this.
We’re hosting a full afternoon of friendly (but fierce) showdowns:
– Stein Holding: A true test of grit and endurance. Last one standing wins.
– Log Cutting: Grab a saw and find a partner… it’s time to let the sawdust
fly.
– Keg Toss: It’s exactly what it sounds like. Let ‘er rip!
– The Hay Bale Throw: The fan favorite returns! See how high you can launch the
farm’s finest.
It also does some good
We’re also proud to partner with the Southwest Montana Mountain Bike Association
again this year. A portion of proceeds from Lager Fest supports their trail work
across the region, including current expansion efforts at Crosscut Mountain
Sports Center. If you’ve spent time riding Copper City or trails around the
valley, you’ve seen the impact of what they do, and this event helps keep that
work moving forward.
Drink a beer, support the trails. Not a bad combo.
Ride or Camp, You’ve Got Options
Coming from Bozeman? The Grizzly Pine Party Bus departs at 3:30 p.m. with rides
to and from the event.
Staying in Three Forks? The Sacajawea Hotel shuttle will run departures at 3:30
and 4 p.m., with return trips after the event. Each trip is limited to 11 seats,
so don’t wait to reserve your spot.
Shuttle rides can be added when purchasing your ticket or anytime through the
ticketing site.
Make a weekend of it
If you want to make a weekend out of it, we’ll have free on-site camping
Saturday night, and SWMMBA will be out at Copper City on Sunday for trail work
and riding.
