Dog Days of Winter – Fun Run
January 16, 2027 @ 8:00am
Join us for nine days of sled dog racing and winter fun in West Yellowstone, Montana! Hosted by the Yellowstone Mushers Association, Dog Days of Winter celebrates the sport and tradition of dog mushing with the Wildfire Defense Race Series. Mushers and their dog teams come from all over to race through some of the most beautiful winter country in the West.
Whether you’re a longtime mushing fan or have never seen a dog team in action, there’s something for everyone. Cheer on teams at the starting line during five days of sled dog racing and two days of time trials. Meet the mushers and their dogs, and learn about the history of sled dogs in the Yellowstone region.
