A fun, informal community biathlon event for all ages and experience levels, with sprint-style bike and run biathlon races, and a team shootout. Race, volunteer, or come cheer everyone on!
Event Description
The Crosscut Shootout is a fun, informal day of community biathlon races at Crosscut, open to all ages and experience levels, including first-timers!
The morning features sprint-style running and mountain biking biathlon races, with U12 and novice options available. Novice participants will attend a safety clinic before racing.
The energy continues into the afternoon with a lighthearted, elimination-style team shootout. Teams of 2–4 compete head-to-head on the range, and coordinated outfits are highly encouraged.
Join the morning races, the afternoon shootout, or both! No previous biathlon experience is required.
Not racing? We’d still love to have you there. Volunteers are needed throughout the day, and spectators are encouraged to come watch, cheer, and be part of the fun.
