Agricultural Land Tour

The Gallatin Conservation District is hosting an Agricultural Land Tour. Ride a tour bus to three different farms in Gallatin County to hear from local farmers and ranchers about best management regenerative farming practices and see firsthand their operations. We will be visiting: Gallatin Grown certified seed potatoes, La Bar Livestock LLC, and Skinner family ranch. We will be covering regenerative agricultural practices regarding cattle grazing and crop production, soil health, cover crops, intensive grazing management, wildlife and agriculture, and how ranchers – first generation to 4th generation – continue to adapt and stay resilient in the face of adversity.
