The Warren Miller Performing Arts Center is delivering Southwest Montana audiences plenty of opportunities to experience live stage entertainment in Big Sky this fall.
Enjoy the talents of The Silhouettes on Saturday, October 14th. Performances will take place at 4pm and 7pm. Run time is 90 minutes with all-ages tickets available for $15–$25.
Founded in 2009, the runner-up on America’s Got Talent and Golden Buzzer winners on America’s Got Talent: The Champions is the nation’s premier shadow-dance company, created and directed by Lynne Waggoner-Patton. The company trains, films and performs their live shows at their own theatre in Westminster, Colorado. Using light, color, video, photographs, dance, acting and mime, the actors onstage (many of them children) perform stories that unfold with depth, intrigue, beauty and mystique.
The Silhouettes’ acclaimed show “LOVE Happens” is an entertaining, family friendly shadow dance story about the myriad ways we all feel love in the world. The production takes you on an emotional journey of laughter, tears and goosebumps, and will infuse you with love for your community and the richness of the world around us.
Ventriloquist Lynn Trefzger follows on Saturday, October 21st. Show times are 4pm and 7pm with a run time of 90 minutes. Tickets range $15–$25.
For over 25 years, Trefzger has given life to a trunk full of comical characters, performing for audiences worldwide. She was first seen on television’s popular Star Search, TNN, Lifetime and Comedy Central. She is featured in a comedy/documentary about the art of ventriloquism with Jay Johnson and Jeff Dunham called I’m No Dummy and is a recipient of the OAPN People’s Choice Award.
