Following the success of its last event, the Bozeman Amateur Hockey Association invites the public to another Glow in the Dark Skate Party on Saturday, March 30th. The luminous fun will unfold from 7:30–10pm on the Jim Bottcher Memorial Ice Rink at Haynes Pavilion. This is a family-friendly event and open to everyone of all ages. Admission is $10 and includes a glow necklace and skate rentals (if needed). Head down to the Gallatin County Fairgrounds and help light up the ice before it’s torn down for the summer!
Looking to next month, the Gallatin Ice Foundation will host an intimate Meet & Greet with Mike Eruzione, Captain of the 1980 US Olympic Gold Medal team. This private social event, held at the Midtown Tavern on Friday, April 5th, is limited to the first 50 registrants. The first hour will be a casual social hour with Mike while the second hour will be dedicated to an open Q&A. The evening begins at 7pm. Cost is $200 per person, which includes heavy appetizers and open bar. All ticket sales go toward the Foundation’s “Finish the Ice Barn” campaign, a project to complete a year-round indoor ice facility in Bozeman.
Following on Saturday, April 6th, Gallatin Ice Foundation is pleased to host a free showing of famed hockey film, Miracle, at the Bozeman Senior Social Center. Eruzione, who stars in the film, will give a brief presentation concluding the movie about his real-life experience playing on the team that changed the competitive game of hockey forever. Doors open at 10:30am and the movie will start promptly at 11am. This is a free event mostly intended for younger fans and parents, though anyone may attend. Pre-registration is required as seating is limited.
Tickets are on sale for the Foundation’s 9th Annual Gloves Off Gala, also set for Saturday, April 6th. The event will feature a gourmet plated dinner, tremendous silent and live auctions, and a live band. Eruzione will serve as keynote speaker for the evening. The Gala will be held at The Commons at Baxter & Love beginning at 6pm. Cost is $150 per guest and proceeds will benefit the “Finish the Ice Barn” campaign.
