The Emerson Center for the Arts & Culture has announced a Call for Art in anticipation of its upcoming exhibit, “AMPLIFIED the Art of Music,” to be on display August 10th through September 3rd.
Music is the most commonly embraced art form. People from every continent on earth have been influenced by music at some point in their life. It is a universal language that speaks to us no matter the genre generation or geography. Music can inform us, console us, and most of all inspire us. The Emerson is hosting a juried group exhibition with intent to make visible the unique power of music. Artists of all mediums and musical preference are encouraged to apply. Show how the beat of your drum inspires the stroke of your brush!
Submissions are due by Sunday, June 17th. Musically-influenced 2D & 3D art of all medias accepted. For complete details and application, please visit www.theemerson.org/call-for-art.
