In collaboration with Syd Wilson, Verge Theater continues to showcase local theater with a special three-week residency at the Emerson Center for the Arts & Culture. Tickets are now on sale for Julien Harris’ The Gallery, with remaining performances set for June 8th–10th and 15th–17th. Thursday and Friday performances begin at 7pm, with Saturday matinees to follow at 2pm. Note: the Friday, June 9th presentation will begin at 8:30pm following the first summer Art Walk.
The Gallery follows the absurdist journey of a being experiencing self-awakening and the rediscovery of life. It takes a deep dive into how and why we get stuck and the power of art in order to open us back up to the world around us. It explores the relationship between the artists, art and the audience, as well as how all of these pieces are essential both in life and in art.
Each show brings something new as Syd paints live with each performance, transforming the space and the minds of both The Being and the audience. After a successful opening run at Millikin University, Syd and Julien are overjoyed to bring The Gallery to Bozeman and get the privilege to let this show grow even more in the time with Verge.
Written, directed and featuring Julien Harris, tickets for The Gallery are available for purchase now. Cost for general admission is $35, with special pay-what-you-can tickets on June 10th and 17th.
