mike.โs music doesnโt fit a genre. In an effort to make something completely unique to him, he combines his love for catchy melodies and feel-good song writing with hip-hop lyricism and modern bounces to make something both nostalgic and new at the same time. His debut album, the highs, is out now.
Daniel Rodriguez warms up the crowd for an always anticipated performance by Gregory Alan Isakovย on July 11th. The show starts at 8pm. See venue website for ticketing details.
The horticulturist-turned-musician has cast an impressive presence on the indie-rock and folk worlds with his acclaimed discography. The group got their start busking on street corners in the late โ90s, from New York state and up through Canada, winning audiences along the way with their boundless energy and spirit. They eventually found themselves in Boone, North Carolina where they caught the attention of folk icon Doc Watson while playing in front of a pharmacy. He invited the band to play at his festival, MerleFest, and the rest is history. Their new album, Paint This Town, released in April.
