Downtown Bozeman’s Eagles Bar is ready to serve every night of the week. The local tavern is also home to a steady schedule of Wednesday acoustics and weekend jamming. Here’s who’s performing in the coming weeks.
Luke Flansburg fronts a solo show on June 4th. He’ll bring a wide variety of music ranging from funk to rock to blues. Also a member of Pinky & the Floyd, Tsunami Funk and MOTH, prepare for a fun set of covers and originals that will span the genres.
The first weekend of the month sees the return of Dilly Dilly on June 6th and 7th. The lively shows will feature a selection of your favorite rockin’ hits and plenty of room to dance.
Poison Lovers guitarist and vocalist Robert Lethert delivers a solo show on June 11th. Expect a blend of old school country and contemporary Americana. His strong gravely voice will perfectly complement your evening at the downtown tavern.
Singer/songwriter Hannah Jo Lally shows off her talents on June 18th. From the back roads of Eastern Washington, enjoy an evening of country cuts and distinctive originals. She draws influence from the likes of Suzy Bogguss and Charley Pride, Waylon Jennings and Mary Chapin Carpenter, among others.
Billings-based FlavaTown will bring down the house on June 20th and 21st. The multi-piece is known for their brand of flavorful old school soul, R&B and funk pop grooves. The band features Scott Morales, Alex Nauman, Erik Olsen, Gabe Bonvicino and Isaiah Morales.
Local songwriter Peter King takes the stage June 25th. The Dead Yellers’ frontman gears his original lyrics around the human condition, love, war and self-control. His originals tell the story of honest, blue collar life in a small town. King’s influences range from the lonesome classic country sound to that of a DIY punk rock group.
New local band Willy on the Wire are set for performances on June 27th and 28th. The Bozeman-based multi-piece are known for their vibey shows covering the best of rock, blues, soul and funk. Head down for a drink and check these guys out!
Exercise your pipes with the voted ‘Best’ Karaoke Night in town, sponsored by Bozeman’s Best Entertainment Group, setting up at FOE every Thursday. Sing your heart out and cheer on your friends! Sign-ups start at 9pm.
Make sure to check out Bridger Mountain Big Band on Sunday nights. The ensemble performs at 7pm. The 17-piece jazz orchestra celebrates the music of Duke Ellington, Count Basie and more, with original arrangements and music of all genres from the 1900s to today. Acoustic Wednesdays start at 8pm and weekend bands are on at 9pm. Head downtown for some great live music or stop into the Eagles for a cold one when the next hankering hits. •
