Get ready for summer weddings and music festivals and learn to dance! This spring, Kerie Hagler with Dance Kinexion is offering short-and-sweet evening dance “bootcamp” classes in Bozeman at the Montana Movement Arts Center. The unique Dance Bootcamp social dance series enables anyone to learn essential dance moves and partnering technique in just two-to-four evening sessions. Learn to twirl with a partner in popular styles such as upbeat Country Two-Step, Country Swing (Jitterbug) or Triple Step (smooth polka), or classic ballroom styles such as Foxtrot, Waltz and Rumba. The bootcamps are an easy way to prepare for dancing at weddings, bars or the many dances around the area. Classes are scheduled for May and June. Using accelerating learning methods, you’ll find out how quickly you can move confidently with a partner and adapt your dancing to a variety of music styles and venues. Class fees for most classes are $40 per series per person, with student discounts available. Singles and couples are welcome.

In June, a two-night Couples and Wedding Dance Bootcamp intensive focuses on easy moves and spins you can do to slow or faster music. The course is designed for wedding couples for preparing for a first dance, wedding guests, or anyone else looking to learn how to dance quickly and confidently or refresh their skills. The course fee is $75 per couple.

   Dance classes are a unique way to work out your body, mind and spirit for a mood-enhancing, health-boosting outing or “date night” for all ages. Most classes are geared for beginning and continuing levels and a partner is not required to sign-up!

  If your schedule is unpredictable, custom private classes are available for couples, groups, wedding parties, families or individuals starting at only $20 per person. Find a time that works for you and like-minded friends and get out on the dancefloor!

   Drop-in classes are also an option in latin dancing with Sizzling Salsa Wednesday evenings at 8:

00 pm and Argentine Tango with Bozeman Tango Tuesdays, both at the Montana Movement Arts Center (The MAC) at 8:00 pm.
