Following an exciting summer of live music and family fun, Bozeman Public Library Foundation’s ‘Music on the Green’ Summer Concert Series wraps on the lawn with one final show for 2024. Local ensemble Little Jane & the Pistol Whips will entertain audience members of all ages on Sunday, August 11th. Enjoy great music, get up and dance, and come together with the community. The concert will be held on the Library’s Front Plaza from 5–7pm. This event is free and open to the public.
Born out of Livingston’s Owl Lounge, the country-skewing Americana band was formed in 2008. Montana native lead singer Ashly Jane’s dynamic voice has a vintage country feel like Loretta Lynn, covering a breadth of ballads to barn dance top tapping tunes that delight audiences under the Big Sky and beyond. Inspired by the mountains and prairies of Montana from the winding passes to lonely dusty roads, Little Jane’s new album, The Long Road Ahead, is a love letter to the Treasure State.
