Skiers and snowboarders of Southwest Montana are flocking to Bridger Bowl to cut through even limited snowfall. Try your hand at some slopeside contests to keep ski season exciting!
Take part in the always exciting King & Queen of the Ridge. The benefit event will take place Saturday, February 7th. Race with friends of all ages on alpine skis, tele skis or snowboards. Take one run on the blue course and one on the red. Best of two timed runs.
Funds raised during this weekend event help support avalanche education in Southwest Montana – 100% of proceeds go to the Friends of the Gallatin National Forest Avalanche Center. $300,528 has been raised since 2003!
The Bridger Gully Freeride follows on Saturday, Feb. 21st. This judged freeriding event off Bridger’s Ridge grades participant runs based on various criteria. It is designed for skiiers and snowboarders of all disciplines.

Co-hosted by Montana State University, Bridger will present the NCAA Regionals with events set for Thursday through Saturday, Feb. 26th–28th. This Championship series brings the greatest collegiate skiers from across the country. Come out and cheer them on! See host website for additional details.
Click into your skis or board for the Terrain Park Jam on Saturday, Feb. 28th. This slopestyle competition features a variety of rails, rollers, boxes, banks and barrels. Skiiers and snowboarders will take two judged runs and a jam on a feature chosen by each age group.
Finally, Bridger’s next Community Dual GS Series event is set for Sunday, March 1st, held in tribute to John Harkin. Open to citizen racers of all ages and boards – alpine skis, tele skis or snowboards. Compete against your friends! Take one run on the blue course and one run on the red course. Best of two timed runs.
Bridger Bowl operates a FREE ski bus service to and from the mountain, with multiple pick-up times daily. Operating midweek and weekends, the bus picks up at MSU’s Strand Union Building and the Gallatin County Fairgrounds’ Park n Ride lot on Tamarack St. throughout the entire ski season. Additionally, Eagle Mount Shuttle operates its own transportation service for disabled skiers and riders Friday–Sunday. Find a request form through Bridger’s website along with shuttle schedules.
