A pair of classic rock hitmakers take the stage with a co-headlining show at Brick Breeden Fieldhouse this month. REO Speedwagon and Rick Springfiled visit Bozeman as part of their national tour on Saturday, October 26th. Opening support comes courtesy of budding Americana duo Dauzat St. Marie with the music set to begin at 7:30pm.
Fronted by iconic vocalist Kevin Cronin, REO Speedwagon’s unrelenting drive, as well as non-stop touring and recording jump-started the burgeoning rock movement in the Midwest. Platinum albums and radio staples soon followed, setting the stage for the release of the band’s explosive Hi Infidelity in 1980. The band has sold more than 40 million albums around the globe, and Cronin and bandmates Bruce Hall (bass), Dave Amato (guitar), Bryan Hitt (drums), and Derek Hilland (touring keyboardist) are still electrifying audiences worldwide in concert with hits and fan-favorites such as “Ridin’ the Storm Out,” “Can’t Fight This Feeling,” “Time For Me to Fly,” “Roll With the Changes,” “Keep on Loving You” and “Take It on the Run,” among others.
Rick Springfield is a versatile entertainer with a remarkable career spanning over four decades. As a Grammy Award-winning singer, songwriter, and musician, he has sold 25 million albums and delivered 17 Top 40 hits, including classics like “Jessie’s Girl” and “Don’t Talk to Strangers.” Despite long-lasting success, he remains committed to pushing boundaries and connecting with audiences through his music. In 2019, he released Orchestrating My Life, a collection of his hits reimagined with a rock orchestra and a touching tribute to his late mother. Springfield’s enduring impact on the entertainment world has been aptly dubbed “The Rickonaissance.”
