Neil Simon’s Broadway Bound is the stirring conclusion to the playwright’s autobiographical “Eugene” Trilogy. We watch Eugene grow up in Brighton Beach Memoirs, and join the army in Biloxi Blues. After his military service, he returns home to pursue a career as a comedy writer, but he immediately alienates his family when he uses their foibles as the basis for a new radio show. Broadway Bound will run in the Dulcie Theatre at the Shane Center for one final weekend, playing Friday and Saturday, August 5th and 6th, at 8 pm, with a closing Sunday matinee on August 7th at 3pm.
Tickets are $16 for adults, $13 for seniors and college students, and $10 for youth 17 and under, and are available at theshanecenter.org/ or by calling the box office at (406) 222-1420.
