Cardboard Box City is a homelessness awareness event and fundraiser for Family Promise of Gallatin Valley. Experience a night in the shoes of the homeless by sleeping overnight in your home-made cardboard structure under the Bogert Park Pavilion. Cardboard Box City is a youth-based event, but welcomes community members of all ages to attend! We invite families, community, school, or faith groups, and individuals alike!
Build a cabin in the woods, a haunted castle, or a cardboard igloo…build whatever you desire! Cardboard Box City encourages creativity, color, and use of multiple media. Structures must be made of cardboard, but other materials can be utilized.
Compete for prizes such as most funds raised for Family Promise, best house slogan, most creative design, and best use of materials. Enjoy music and entertainment by DJ Justus, a pizza party, and plenty of games and activities.
All participants are encouraged to raise at least $100 for Family Promise to help them continue serving homeless families year-round. Raise $10 from 10 friends, family members, neighbors, or other community members!
